WATCH: Young Voters Are Flocking to Harris/Walz

Gen Z voters comprise the newest and potentially most impactful demographic in the 2024 elections, and they're overwhelmingly supporting the Democratic ticket of Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, 60.

Younger voters are excited by the pair, who have leaned into the online messaging across social media platforms showcasing the joy and basic normalcy of their campaign so far.

"We have something to vote for now, not just vote against" seems to be the central take from GenZ, who have boosted the Harris/Walz campaign with memes, videos, and other original online creator-based content.

Voter registration among younger Americans is also at an all-time high.

While corporate media has dropped the ageist narrative they deployed against Joe Biden, younger voters know that 78-year-old Donald Trump isn't going to be supporting them financially or helping them thrive once they're out in the work force.

"Young people are demanding a future where schools are safe, housing is affordable, and abortion rights are protected. That future won’t be possible in a second Trump term," tweeted "Kamala For PA."

Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) is the youngest member of Congress and an excellent surrogate for both his generation as well as the Harris/Walz campaign.

Appearing on MSNBC's "The Weekend," Rep. Frost reiterated why younger voters are so excited by the Democratic ticket.

Vice President Harris "really cares about the voices of young people and bringing them in," Rep. Frost told former RNC Chair Michael Steele and co-host Symone Sanders-Townshend.
