New Lincoln Project Ad Reminds That We Pledge Allegiance to the Flag – Not a Man
Today, the Lincoln Project released a new 30-second ad reminding Americans that nationalism and patriotism aren’t equal. Our allegiance as a people should be to our country, not to a failed president or his political party. The spot will run on Fox News in Bedminster, New Jersey where former President Trump is spending his summer, and digitally in Washington, DC.
“Donald Trump receives blind allegiance from his supporters and the GOP,” said Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project. “The GOP’s loyalty to Trump is a betrayal to truth, the rule of law, and to the Republic. It is time to ask their voters who and what you stand with: The American Flag, or a Trump 2024 banner.”
The full ad can be viewed here.
The Lincoln Project is a group of former Republicans who worked to defeat Donald J. Trump and continue to fight on behalf of American democracy.
