WATCH: WH Press Secretary Says OK to Call Those Against Trump Scum
While Stephanie Grisham became White House Press Secretary in June, most Americans have never heard her speak. Unlike her predecessor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Grisham has never held a press conference where she could answer questions from reporters. She blamed the lack of pressers on the journalists themselves.
Viewers of Fox News, however can hear the press secretary speak on a regular basis. Grisham appeared on Fox and Friends and discussed Donald Trump’s recent comments on Never Trump Republicans. She told the hosts that Americans that don’t stand with the President deserve to be called derogatory names.
On Wednesday, Trump tweeted, “The Never Trumper Republicans, though on respirators with not many left, are in certain ways worse and more dangerous for our Country than the Do Nothing Democrats. Watch out for them, they are human scum!”

Grisham was asked if Trump should regret the tweet by Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade. “No. No he shouldn’t,” Grisham replied. “The people who are against him, and who have been against him, and working against him since the day they took office are just that.”
The Press Secretary continued, “It is horrible that people are working against a president who is delivering results for this country, and has been since day one. And the fact that people continue to try to negate anything that he is doing and take away from the good work he is doing on behalf of the American people, they deserve strong language like that.”
