WATCH: VP Harris Widens Lead Over Trump in Key States and National Polls

New polling both nationally and more narrowly focused down to key states all show the same results: Vice President Kamala Harris has widened her lead over convicted felon Donald Trump.

But it's one particular poll that's going to hit Trump hardest, because it's from Fox News, which shows that traditionally Red Sun Belt states are starting to embrace the Vice President over the MAGA agenda.

"Trump is in trouble," in the key states he formerly won, according to former chief strategist for the Bush-Cheney 2004 Campaign Matthew Dowd.

Elsewhere, VP Harris has surged ahead 48%-43% in a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll. It's a whopping eight-point turnaround from late June when Trump had led President Joe Biden in the survey by nearly four points.

Voters in that poll 18 to 34 years old moved from supporting Trump by 11 points to supporting Harris by 13 points, 49%-36%.

Hispanics, the group the Republican campaign has been working hardest to cultivate, moved from supporting Trump by two points to supporting Harris by 16 points, 53%-37%.

Black voters, always one of the most overwhelmingly Democratic groups, increased from supporting President Biden by 47 points to supporting VP Harris by 64 points, 76%-12%.

Lower-income voters now support VP Harris 58%-35%. She has emphasized her commitment to creating an "opportunity economy" that makes housing more affordable and tackles price-gouging on food.

A new Economist/YouGov Poll shows VP Harris pulling ahead in key voting demographics as well.

The new Quinnipiac Poll also shows the Vice President ahead, 49% to 47%, but was conducted before RFK Jr paused his campaign.
