WATCH: Ukrainian Ambassador’s Advice To Putin: Finish Up Like Hitler Did In His Bunker

Ukrainians have been standing up to Vladimir Putin in every possible way during his invasion, taking up weapons to defend their country, turning to social media to share their stories, and addressing the dictator’s ego with words of derision and disdain.

Having now invaded, Putin has few avenues, if any, of withdrawal without a loss of dignity, and the signs don’t currently point to him having any particular desire to do so. As the New York Times is reporting today, even while delegations met in Belarus for what were supposed to be peace talks, a rocket attack was launched on Kharkiv, killing dozens.
In a clear display of just how done Ukrainians are with Russia’s aggression, and just how Putin is seen in the neighboring country, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Nations Sergiy Kyslytsya is comparing him to Adolf Hitler. Requesting a special session to address the Putin’s threat of using nuclear arms, Kyslytsya suggested he should take the same route out of this conflict that the German dictator took out of World War II: permanently, and by his own hand.
“If [Putin] wants to kill himself, he doesn’t need to use nuclear arsenal. He has to do what the guy in Berlin did in a bunker in May 1945.”

“We have been prompted to call for an emergency special session as the level of this threat to global security has been equated to the second world war or even higher, following Putin’s order to put on alert Russian nuclear forces. What a madness. If he wants to kill himself, he doesn’t need to use a nuclear arsenal. He has to do what the guy in Berlin did, in the bunker, in May 1945.”
