James Woods and Rudy Giuliani have long been two very important members of Team Trump. Woods, an actor by trade, has become a noted Twitter troll who regularly spars with Liberal. Giuliani, of course, is currently representing Trump.
But back in 2003, both men were in very different places. Woods career was thriving and Giuliani was America’s most famous mayor. So it was only natural that networks would want to make a movie about Giuliani’s actions during September 11th. It feels quite different looking back on this 17 year old movie now.
The Washington Post’s Holly Figueroa O’Reilly recently shared a clip from the movie on her Twitter feed. In the scene, Woods’ Giuliani woos Donna Hanover, played by Penelope Ann Miller. The former Mayor began to date Hanover in 1980, 3 years before having his first marriage annulled.
I didn't think 2020 had anything left to give us (or take away from us) but I was wrong because here's an unearthed clip of the 2003 movie "Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story" starring James Woods as Rudy Giuliani and it is fucking G O L D.

Giuliani’s character explains the difference between Democrats and Republicans. “You know Democrats always talk about things getting better,” he tells Hanover. “Republicans did whatever they could to make them better.” This line apparently works on Hanover and the couple kisses passionately.
Things are quite different nowadays for both men. Woods career has suffered over his frequent politicking on Twitter. His former manager Ken Kaplan famously dumped him over email in 2018. “It’s the 4th of July and I’m feeling patriotic,” Kaplan wrote. “I don’t want to represent you anymore.”
Giuliani is frequently in the news, but for all the wrong reasons. Not only the former mayor helped trigger an impeachment inquiry into the president, he has been widely mocked for his attempts to have the 2020 election overturned.
