WATCH: Tucker Carlson is Angered by People Referring to Martin Luther King as ‘Doctor’

Many people can be called doctors without receiving a medical degree. All one has to do is earn their doctorate in any one of a number of fields. And for some reason, this enrages Conservatives.

The leader of the outrage, as always, is Tucker Carlson. Back in December of 2020, he mocked Jill Biden, who earned a doctorate in education from the University of Delaware. The First Lady, the Fox News host claimed, was as much of a doctor as Dr. Pepper.

Last night, Carlson’s target was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. According to the Conservative pundit, calling him Dr. King is a scheme to diminish Christianity.

The Fox host bloviated:

“Every person created in God’s image and, therefore, for that reason, morally equal. That is gravely disempowering for the left. If all people are morally equal, you can’t really divide your population by skin color. You can’t really set one group against another. You can’t tell one group you’re better than that group. You’re worse than that group. That’s not allowed.

So in order to allow it, you have to erase Christianity. And they’ve been working on it for a long time. Ever notice how they call a Martin Luther King ‘Doctor,’ but not ‘Reverend?’ King was not a physician, he was a Christian preacher. They’d like you to forget that.”
