Last night, conspiracy theorist Tucker Carlson gave a speech to a large group of Christian voters in Des Moines, Iowa. The Fox host hit on all the main Republican talking points; ripping transgender people, talking about the high price of gas, and cancel culture.

During his speech, Carlson even took a shot at the current leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump. Some think that the Fox host could even be angling for 2024’s Republican nomination.
Carlson said of the former President, “Maybe this person isn’t fully sincere, maybe this person is even borderline repulsive. But please, you know, compared to what?”

Iowa, due to its early caucus, is a popular place for people to start presidential bids. And Carlson noted that he’s familiar with the state, saying, “I think I’ve done the full Grassley.” Senator Chuck Grassley is famed for visiting all of the state’s 99 counties when he is running for office.
When asked if Carlson could be considering a political run, analyst Jon Schweppe noted, “He’s definitely flirting with it, 100 percent.”
Schweppe continued:
“He has the role that Rush Limbaugh had in the ’90s and he’s very aware of it. Tucker is setting the terms of ’24 right now, he is the moderator. He’ll be hugely influential in terms of setting the topics. He has the bully pulpit.”
