WATCH: Tucker Carlson Calls Out Trump’s Failure to Lead
Outside of a space shuttle launch, Donald Trump was not seen much this weekend. He reportedly spent some of the time in an underground bunker as protests grew violent across the country. According to CNN, anger about this report led to him having peaceful protesters tear-gassed while walking to a church.
The President has been heavily criticized by left-leaning politicians and media for his failure to lead during this crisis. On Monday night, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson joined this chorus, wondering where Donald Trump has been.
Carlson began the segment by saying, “When the mobs came, they abandoned us. The nation went up in flames this weekend. No one in charge stood up to save America. This is how nations collapse.”
The Fox host then began to question the members of the administration like Mike Pence, Nikki Haley and Jared Kushner.

Carlson then turned his attention to Trump, “What about the president? Where was he during all of this?”
After showing a video of Fox reporter Leland Vittert being attack, he continued on Trump. “That was in Lafayette Square in the center of our capital city,” he said. “The tape raised a troubling question. If you can’t keep a Fox News correspondent from getting attacked directly across from your house, how can you protect my family? How are you going to protect the country? How hard are you trying?”
