WATCH: Tucker Carlson Admits He Doesn’t Even Know What Critical Race Theory Is

For the last year or so, Fox News has been telling viewers that Critical Race Theory is being taught to their children. The message has resonated with their viewers. Glenn Youngkin, Virginia’s new Republican Governor, made it the main issue in his campaign. The message, though, is incredibly deceiving. Critical Race Theory is taught in law schools, not in elementary schools.

When Youngkin was asked to give examples of CRT being taught in Virginia schools, he was unable to. And during his Thursday night broadcast, Tucker Carlson admitted he didn’t event understand the theory.

After playing a clip of MSNBC hosts talking about the GOP fraud, Carlson said, “This is not a semantic debate about what critical race theory means. Schools are teaching students, your children, that some races are inherently superior to other races. That’s the definition of racism, that some children are born with the sin of sin, inherently? That’s Nazi stuff, it is. It is totally un-American.”

Guest Brit Hume later weighed in, “You can say technically, Tucker, it’s not being taught in the sense — volumes have been written on critical race theory and it’s not been handed out as a textbook. But its influence and its tenets are in those schools.”

The host responded, “I’ve never figured out what critical race theory is, to be totally honest, after a year of talking about it.”
