While MAGA smugly celebrates Donald Trump's victory, it stands to reason that they're not at all aware of how his policies will also negatively impact them.
Most significantly, Trump plans to gut the Affordable Care Act with no healthcare plan to replace it, endangering millions of Americans, including the ones who voted for him.
Despite never explaining how he'll implement his promises to begin mass deportation of immigrants--both legally in the country as well as not--Trump has called for using the National Guard and empowering domestic police forces in the effort to remove the "undesirables" and other perceived "enemies from within."
If Trump is successful, the jobs that are usually held by immigrants and keep the country going--physical work such as farm labor, industrial and domestic cleaning, and other so-called "menial" jobs that are essential to American daily life.
Aside from abortion rights being at stake even in states that voted to protect them, birth control will be eradicated. Trump will also hold a grudge against Blue state voters who chose Vice President Kamala Harris. In the past, he's threatened to cut off aid to "sanctuary cities," which are located in Blue states.
Trump will put all LGBTQ+ citizens at risk by rolling back all of their legal protections, most likely starting with the freedom to marry. He'll end the Biden administration’s policy of extending Title IX civil rights protections to transgender students, and he will ask Congress to require that only two genders can be recognized at birth. He has also called for ending diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in government institutions, as well as ending the Department of Education.
This is only a fraction of the damage Trump will inflict on the nation, and therefore, the world.
