WATCH: Trump's "Erratic" Behavior Is Why He's "Probably Gonna Lose," Says John Kasich

Donald Trump held another unnecessary and unhinged press conference on Thursday, this time at his Bedminster, NJ, golf bunker, in another attempt to distract the media from both the Democratic National Convention next week and his impending sentencing next month.

It didn't go well.

The Trump campaign has been floundering spectacularly ever since Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democratic presidential nominee.

Trump is now losing to VP Harris in all nationwide polls, and his running mate, JD "Mr Couch Potato" Vance is the most unpopular Vice Presidential candidate choice in history.

Meanwhile, the rally Trump held on Wednesday was in a tiny room because his campaign wouldn't spring for the big room, and it showcased how off the rails the TrumpTrain is at the moment.

Pairing nicely with that is a new report from The New York Times revealing that Trump's decline has become a major issue for staffers who are said to be "panicked" and working overtime to cover for his multiple gaffes, including raging at one of his top donors, Miriam Adelson.

It's that kind of behavior that's going to cause Trump to lose in November, says former Ohio Governor John Kasich.

Kasich, who considered running for President against Trump but quickly dropped that bid, appeared on MSNBC on Thursday and told host José Díaz-Balart that Trump's unpredictable personality is just part of the reason why his campaign is in trouble.
