Question for Donald Trump: what kind of “successful businessman” who’s “like really smart” doesn’t sign a non-disclosure agreement with the filmmaker following him and his family around for months, nor does he demand creative control, all while he commits all kinds of felonies? Spoiler: I hear he also has some anger management issues along with problems blending his self-tanner.
Dumb Donald is so dumb that he didn’t make British documentarian Alex Holder sign a thing. And if you’re keeping score, this makes Holder the second British filmmaker to have never-before-seen footage of Trump from January 6th. But Holder’s 100+ hours of footage weren’t only of interest to the January 6th House Select Committee–he’s already complied with their subpoena and given them an interview as well as the relevant video they sought. Holder told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes that he’s also cooperating with the Georgia District Attorney who’s threatened to bring criminal charges against both Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for their pressure campaign to overturn the state’s election results.
Captain Projection Language repeatedly referred to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Gabriel Sterling, the state’s top election official, as “stupid” in one of the interviews he sat for in the documentary. Again, your reminder that they just let this guy film everything they said and did. Nobody said, “Hey, maybe don’t use that” or “You know, we should probably have a contract.” Nope, this stuff is coming out, and literally, nothing can stop Holder from releasing it now that the House Select Committee has reviewed what they needed to review.

Holder also told Chris Hayes–who, I should warn you, isn’t doing his best interviewing work here–that he needs security now that Trump’s base knows his name and that he can provide unflattering truthful information about Dear Leader.
