WATCH: Trump Claims his New York-born Father was Born in Germany
The origins of Donald Trump’s parents are quite well known. His father, Fred Trump, was born in New York City and built a real estate empire which eventually employed his son. His mother, Mary, was born in Scotland and moved the the United States when she was a teenager.
Since this information is well known, Trump surprised the media today by claiming his father was born in Germany. The president made the statement following a meeting with NATO’s, Jens Stoltenberg.
Trump claimed, “my father is German, was German. Born in a very wonderful place in Germany.”

Trump could have been confusing his father with his Grandfather. The president’s Grandfather, Friedrich Trump, left Germany in 1885 to avoid the country’s compulsory military service.
No reporter during the press conference questioned the president’s words and the White House has yet to comment on the president’s statement.
This was not the only gaffe made by President Trump during this important meeting with NATO’s, Jens Stoltenberg. He was also unable to pronounce the word ‘origins’ on three separate occasions, instead seeming to pronounce it as ‘oranges’.
Isn't it ironic that the same Americans who think "English" is our official language, support a man who doesn't know how to pronounce the word 'origins"?
Anyone know what the "oranges" of the Mueller probe were?
