WATCH: Top Trump Volunteer Quits After Realizing They Can't Win New Hampshire

Someone in TrumpWorld has enough of a grasp on reality that they've publicly admitted Donald Trump has no path to victory in a key battleground state.

Tom Mountain, a former vice chair of Trump’s campaign in Massachusetts, will reportedly “no longer have any involvement” in helping the convicted felon's flailing efforts, according to The Boston Globe.

Mountain sounded the alarm to his fellow Trump volunteers in an email on Sunday, notifying them that “the campaign has determined that New Hampshire is no longer a battleground state” and that staff should redirect campaign efforts in Pennsylvania.

According to Mountain's email, Trump is “sure to lose by an even higher margin” in New Hampshire than in the previous two election cycles, citing “campaign data/research.” Conversely, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton barely won New Hampshire in 2016 with a thin margin of 2,736 votes.

At the same time, new poll numbers indicate that Vice President Kamala Harris is gaining ground with Hispanic voters, a key demographic that traditionally votes Republican.

Trump's campaign immediately demoted Mountain to coffee boy status, dismissing him as nowhere near an "important volunteer."

“This isn’t true,” Hughes told the Globe about Mountain’s email. “[The] campaign maintains an on-the-ground presence in New Hampshire, including staff and offices, while Kamala Harris is parachuting in because she knows that the Granite State is in play."

Trump has no campaign events scheduled in New Hampshire--or anywhere else--for this entire week. Political forecasters say the lack of enthusiasm for the Trump campaign is what will eventually sink it.
