After a week of attacks on his military service, Tim Walz returned fire this week, calling out Donald Trump over his lack of service to the country.
Republicans have been on their heels since the day Kamala Harris became the Democratic nominee. Not only have they failed to find any working attack line on Harris, they have also faltered when trying to attack running mate Tim Walz.
The GOP has seemingly decided that the best way to attack the Minnesota Governor is to criticize him over the 24 years he spent in the Army National Guard.
The attacks started with J.D. Vance, who said that the Minnesota Governor is engaging in stolen valor. Donald Trump has also attack Wasz, calling him a disgrace.
Many one both sides of the aisle have stepped up to defend Walz and today he went after Donald Trump.
Walz said during a Las Vegas rally:
"Now each of you came here. You came here because you love your country. You came here because you know a fantastic leader is going to walk out those doors here in a minute or two – the person you see bringing everything to us. But let’s be very clear here: Donald Trump sees the world very differently than all of us here. Each of you talk about service. Donald Trump knows nothing about service. it’s pretty hard to provide service to others when you’re too busy looking out for only yourself."
