Donald Trump, amazingly, was able to get 3 judges on the Supreme Court when he was President. All were controversial in their own ways, but Republicans were committed to pushing them through.
Joe Biden now has his first nominee, the incredibly qualified Ketanji Brown-Jackson. That hasn’t prevented GOP lawmakers from attacking her. Josh Hawley is leading the charge. During a weekend segment on the nomination, Tiffany Cross and Elie Mystal agreed that the Missouri senator is trying to get Brown-Jackson killed.
Hawley tweeted this week, “Judge Jackson has a pattern of letting child porn offenders off the hook for their appalling crimes, both as a judge and as a policymaker. She’s been advocating for it since law school. This goes beyond “soft on crime.” I’m concerned that this a record that endangers our children.”

Discussing the tweet, Mystal claimed, “What Josh Hawley is doing, let’s let’s be very clear, what Josh Hawley is doing when he tries to do this, is he’s trying to get her killed. He is trying to get violence done against a Supreme Court nominee.”
The pundit continued, “You know how I know that Josh Hawley knows what Pizzagate is all about? Because guess who’s the judge who sentenced the Pizzagate guy? Oh, that was Ketanji Brown Jackson.”
The host responded, “Yes, absolutely, you’re right. Thank you for that.”
