I say this with all of the intended disrespect: Ted Cruz is the absolute lowest lifeform to ever ooze across the Senate floor.
Cruz was born unlikeable and stayed that way. It’s not bad enough that he sold himself to Donald Trump even after insults against his wife and father, but he’s also used his daughters as the excuse for escaping to Cancun, manufactured Twitter beefs with Muppets, and is the highest-paid NRA shill in Texas who went off for a “ridiculously fun day” of playing poker while parents in Uvalde buried their fourth graders massacred by gun violence in their classrooms. Then there’s that whole plotting with Trump and then committing treason on January 6th. Remember when Turd Cruz still voted against certifying the 2020 election once the rioters were cleared but their bodily fluids were still on the walls? I sure do.
Among the many freedoms Turd Cruz enjoys but doesn’t want anyone else to have, like cranking central air, is the ability for everyone to marry the person they love. Now, I wouldn’t categorize Ted and Heidi’s unholy union as “love” (why does he need to pay so much attention to Lauren Boebert? Beats me), but no one has ever told them they shouldn’t be allowed to marry based on their personal belief system. Now, maybe he’s just trying to distract from the January 6th stuff that will PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE finally bite him where the smarm don’t shine, but going on camera and saying gay marriage is a mistake is the stuff of pure evil.
Republican Ted Cruz wants to subordinate the LGBTQ Community. This is the GOP’s Agenda. Vote for the Democrats if you want gay marriage to remain a legal and constitutional right for every American. pic.twitter.com/bFPxWwdQ32

No one’s marriage is a threat to yours, Rafael. Unless you’re jealous of an actually loving couple like Pete and Chasten Buttigieg, the fathers of newborn twins, or Karine Jean-Pierre and her partner, who share a daughter. If you’re choosing homophobia over letting people enjoy their lives, you deserve all the bad things karma can deliver your way.
