{WATCH} Ted Cruz is Getting Extra Desperate for Money as His Poll Numbers Sink

Ted Cruz went on Newsmax this week to plead for money after polling has consistently shown him in a tight race with Democrat Colin Allred.

During his time in politics, Ted Cruz has made a ton of enemies in Washington DC, some from his very own party. The public really dislikes him too. So when Cruz is in an election year, his opponent is normally able to raise a ton of money.

Beto O'Rourke, who ran against Cruz is 2018, came close to besting Cruz, but fell by 2.6%. Now Allred is polling well against the Texas Republican and is even ahead in some surveys.

Cruz said during his spot on Newsmax, "Chuck Schumer and George Soros are flooding cash into the state of Texas. There have been multiple polls in the last three weeks that show it as a four-point race, a three-point race, a two-point race, and there have been two polls that show it as a one-point race."

Like most Republicans who use this terminology regardless of who they are running against, Cruz referred to Allred as, "an extreme left-wing Democrat."

Cruz closed with the same anti-Semitic dog whistle he opened with, saying, "I want to encourage your viewers this morning: I need your help. Contribute, because we are getting swamped by Chuck Schumer and George Soros."
