[WATCH] Steve Bannon Will ‘Go Out With a Whimper,’ Says Glenn Kirschner

Steve Bannon is scared.
Now that he’s tried every possible way to avoid his federal trial beginning on Monday and has failed spectacularly, Trump’s former advisor is so desperate to avoid prison that he’s willing to make a deal with the January 6th House Select Committee to testify. When it comes to the deckhands on the Trumptanic, Bannon is the drunkest.

Jury selection tomorrow in Contempt of Congress trial of Steve Bannon
Among other questions, prospective jurors will be asked if they've watched Jan 6 Cmte hearings.. & whether they'll have "difficulty putting aside any opinions (they) may have formed about the people involved" pic.twitter.com/H8OaXV0aTG

Godspeed to the lawyers in the Bannon case trying to just make it through jury selection. They’d disqualify me in a heartbeat, I can tell you that much.
Steve Bannon's Trial to begin: he promises to go "medieval"; he's more likely to go out with a whimper. Because #JusticeMatters https://t.co/FBdLXObFub

Former federal prosecutor, homicide prosecutor, and Army JAG Glenn Kirschner says he was in that same courthouse in November 2019, when prosecutors “figuratively dragged Steve Bannon to the witness stand by the scruff of his neck” and forced him to testify against his criminal associate Roger Stone. Bannon’s performance in court at that time was weak and pathetic. “If past is prologue,” Kirschner says, Bannon is far more likely to go out with a whimper than with a bang.
