WATCH: Steve Bannon Tells Tucker Carlson Democrats Are Going to “Steal the Election”

Steve Bannon was an important part of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential win. He was fired by Trump and things are much different for him now. In fact, Bannon was arrested in August and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

Still, Bannon is attempting to support Donald Trump and the Republican party. Despite the fact that every major poll shows Joe Biden leading Trump, the former strategist still proposes that Democrats are trying to “steal the election.”

Bannon made the comments on Thursday night while appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show. He first told the host that he’s been targeted due to his relationship with Trump. “Attorney General Barr said it, I think at Hillsdale the other night,” he claimed. “This is head-hunting of high profile political targets that are associated with President Trump. It’s not random that it was four years almost to the day that I took over the campaign that this indictment came out, right?”

He then lauded the Trump team, “The campaign’s in great shape, you got Bill Stepien, Jason Miller, Steve Cortes, others, they’re doing a great job and will deliver a victory on November 3rd for President Trump.”

Bannon ended with his accusation:

“The Democratic Party has traumatized their base,” he said. “They’re not going to come out to vote, and so, somehow they have to concoct some effort to steal this election because they’re not going to get people to come out and vote on game day, the 3rd of November of this year. And that’s what I’ve been working on for the last couple of months.”
