When it was Steve Bannon’s turn to speak to the January 6th Committee, he was a no-show, and now he has a court date coming up. It seems that he’s not happy with others who have chosen to answer questions about any involvement Donald Trump may have had in the attack on Congress.
As the House Select Committee narrows its focus ever closer to those in and around the Trump White House who may have known about the attack in advance, or even been in on the planning, the former president has publicly displayed his unhappiness about the investigation, lashing out after Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes spent 6 hours testifying.
It seems his near-and-dear pal and associate Bannon is concerned, too, as can be seen in this short clip from his podcast, where he complains about Mike Pence’s recent statement that he could not have overturned the election as Trump was asking, and about everyone who is “ratting out” Trump.
“I can’t take Pence and Marc Short and all these KOCH guys ratting out Trump.”*

“Pence, you’re gonna carry this thing eventually to your grave. It is a mark of shame, and you are a stone-cold coward…I can’t take Pence and Marc Short and all these Koch guys ratting out Trump up on Capitol Hill right now.”
Marc Short was Pence’s Chief of Staff during his term as Vice President, and he testified before the January 6th Committee last month, and reportedly also supplied the Committee with documents they requested.
Bannon’s court date on his criminal contempt charge for failing to comply with a Congressional subpoena is in July.
