WATCH: SNL’s Colin Jost Refers to Trump’s Rallies as “Coronavirus Giveaways”

Not too many television shows are airing live right now. But with the election looming, Saturday Night Live has gone back on air. And that’s not great for Donald Trump as he is a consistent target of the actors and Weekend Update anchors.

Weeks ago, Alec Baldwin played Trump and lampooned the first debate with Joe Biden (portrayed by Jim Carrey). Last night the president was hit on Weekend Update. Anchor Colin Jost blasted Trump’s rallies, referring to the as Coronavirus giveaways.

Jost began, “this week, President Trump held more Coronavirus giveways across the country as part of his herd immunity tour. He started in Florida and showed off how healthy his brain is, saying this. They say I’m immune. I can feel — I feel so powerful. Nothing says I’m off steroids like screaming I’m so powerful like Sloth from the Goonies.”

The host continued to mock the recklessness of Trump’s rallies, “Then at a rally in Pennsylvania a congressman literally crowd surfed, I guess on the second wave of COVID.”
