WATCH: SNL Mocks Aaron Rodgers and Donald Trump in Opening Skit

The week started with Glenn Youngkin making many Republicans happy by winning the Virginia governorship. The win, though, was seen as a rebuke to Donald Trump, who the GOP candidate tried to separate himself from.

The week ended in controversy for COVID infected NFL star Aaron Rodgers. The Packers QB, who recently repeated just about every anti-vax talking point in an interview, was dropped by healthcare sponsor Prevea Health.

SNL took aim at both Trump and Rodgers in their cold open last night. The men were both guests on Judge Jeanine Pirro’s show.

Pete Davidson, playing Rodgers, told the host, “Exactly Jeanine. It’s my body, and my Covid. I can give it to whoever I want. But suddenly the woke mob is coming after me. It’s gotten so bad, State Farm called and they’re not giving me the Aaron Rodgers break.”

Rodgers continued, “I never lied. I took all my teammates into a huddle, got all their faces three inches away from my wet mouth and told them, ‘Trust me. I’m more or less immunized.’ Go team.”

Pirro then brought on Youngkin and Trump. James Austin Johnson, playing the 45th president, noted, “And you know what, most people don’t like Glenn, but he’s a wonderful guy. He’s a wonderful guy. Tall, he’s rich. Like my sons, Glenn. You’re like my son, okay?”

“Please don’t say that,” responded Youngkin.
