[WATCH] Select Committee Has ‘Isolated Trump As The Bad Actor,’ in Jan 6th Plot, Says Former GOP Congressman

One major fact about the January 6th House Select Committee’s live hearings that’s been lost on some viewers is that the majority of the witnesses to appear thus far have been Republicans. Whether it’s been on video, as with Bill Barr and Trump’s daughter Ivanka, as well as some of his key campaign staffers and former lawyer Rudy Giuliani, or live, the bulk of witness testimony shared with the public has come from Trump’s own political side.

But possibly the most damning testimony against Donald Trump will be heard from another Republican during the January 6th Committee’s next live hearing on Tuesday, when Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is set to tell the panel about the “perfect” phone call between himself and Trump that just may lead to criminal charges for the former guy. Even though there are still two scheduled hearings beyond Tuesday’s, with the potential for additional hearings in the unlikely event the Committee can secure the testimony it’s seeking from Mike Pence and Ginni Thomas, Raffensperger’s appearance may be the final straw for those remaining Trump loyalists who are finally beginning to see the light.

The testimony seen so far carries the strong message that Trump was at the center of the plot to keep himself in office. In fact, it was his idea from the start, along with John Eastman throwing in some lawyering words. But no matter how many clowns are stuffed into that car parked in front of Mar-A-Lago, the message is still clear: it’s all Trump’s fault. And now that they’re learning Trump would never go out of his way to help any of them who are now in legal trouble for their roles on January 6th, it’s only a matter of time before he finds out what it’s like when you’re left alone with no other way out.
