WATCH: Sean Hannity Has a Melt-Down Over Savannah Guthrie’s Tough Questioning of Trump

Donald Trump likes to do his interviews on Fox News. There’s a reason for this. He wants to answer the questions his way with no push-back on obvious lies. Interviewers like Axios’ Jonathan Swan and Fox News’ Chris Wallace have drawn the president’s ire for calling out his obvious mistruths.

On Wednesday night, Trump participated in a slapped together town hall event on NBC News. He also ran into a buzzsaw of a moderator in Savannah Guthrie. Guthrie aggressively challenged Trump and threw him off his game. The NBC host’s performance enraged Trump sycophant Sean Hannity who questioned Guthrie’s journalistic integrity.

The Fox host said of Trump’s performance, “He pretty much debated Savannah Guthrie and what we all witnessed was not journalism, it was a political debate with the morning host of the Today show serving as Joe Biden’s surrogate and it didn’t really work out well for her. Questions, topics, tactics all reeking of pure political bias.”

Hannity wasn’t the only Fox host upset about Guthrie’s grilling of Trump. Laura Ingraham took to Twitter to write, “Joe’s stand-in: As expected, Savannah Guthrie is debating, not interviewing, Donald Trump. They wonder why people tune them out.”

Ingraham continued, “Has any media person ever challenged Biden like Savannah Guthrie is with Trump?”
