Former GOP Congressional candidate and pro-Trump supporter, Sean Feucht is expressing his hatred for the restrictions that have been put in place against the coronavirus in California. His main grudge is with the restrictions put on religious institutions such as churches and he has even started a petition about the restrictions placed by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
In less than 20 mins, @GavinNewsom is issuing an order to shut down all indoor church services across CA!
What a tyrannical move and drastic overreach of government into our religious liberties!!
LET US WORSHIP!!!!!

Feucht tweeted a response to the measures on Monday, saying, “What a tyrannical move and drastic overreach of government into our religious liberties!!” The restrictions mainly apply to churches and businesses located in places hit hardest by the increase. A video of Feucht accompanied the tweet in which he had more to say. He said, “Silencing the church seems to be one of his main agendas. This is insane! What a tyrannical overreach of the government. What an infringement on our Constitution and our free liberty to worship God. We are standing up. This is insane.”
Feucht’s biggest problem with the restrictions is the ban on singing and chanting which science shows can speed up the spread of the coronavirus. Newsom placed similar restrictions during his state’s first bout with virus but faced significant push back from religious groups causing him to loosen the rules. Feucht is accusing lawmakers of being hypocrites, claiming that they are encouraging the George Floyd protests despite the virus. In response, Feucht is gathering signatures for a “Let Us Worship” petition in which he blasts Newsom while comparing to Pharoah of the old testament who enslaved the Israelites.
“But our freedom to worship God and obey His Word has come under unprecedented attack. Powerful politicians and social media giants have engaged in unchartered abuses of religious liberty, silencing the faithful, banning our voices, and outright attacking our God-given right to declare His goodness.
States across America, including here in California have shut down church services and even outlawed singing in church. Instagram and Twitter is censoring Christian voices every single day. And every hour that passes they grow bolder in their efforts to silence the faithful.
It’s time for the Church to rise up with one voice and tell our government leaders and the rulers of big tech that we refuse to be silenced!”
