WATCH: Scarlett Johansson Sends Up Alabama Senator Katie Britt on SNL

Republicans know that they are in deep trouble with female voters and that they won't have a successful 2024 election season if they can't rectify that. Strangely, they decided a way to do so would be to have Alabama Katie Britt deliver the State of the Union rebuttal.

Britt, who presents as a 1950s housewife despite being an extremely powerful senator, delivered an awkward and weird performance. Scarlett Johannson mocked the speech during last night's Saturday Night Live.

Portraying the Republican, Johansson began, "My name is Katie Britt and I have the honor of serving the great people of Alabama. But tonight I’ll be auditioning for the part of ‘Scary mom.’ I’ll be performing an original monologue called ‘This country is hell.'"

The actress continued, "You see, I’m not just a senator, I’m a wife, a mother and the craziest b---h in the Target parking lot — worried about the future of our children. And this is why I have invited you into this strange and empty kitchen because Republicans want me to appeal to women voters. And women love kitchens."

Johansson closed, "The American people who are struggling right now, know this: We hear you. We see you. We smell you. We are inside your kitchen right now looking through your fridge. And what is that on the top shelf? Migrants."
