Fox News host have been pushing hesitancy about the vaccine by claiming it won’t prevent a person from getting COVID. That’s true. But that was never the goal of the vaccine. The shot was meant to keep one from becoming very ill or dying if they did contract COVID.
And while people like Sean Hannity are telling their viewers not to get their vaccines, they have plenty of solutions for them once they do contract the illness. There is Ron DeSantis’ very expensive monoclonal antibody treatment. Then there s a cow de-worming pill that people across the South have been taking.
Where did people get the idea to take a dangerous pill meant for animals? From Sean Hannity, of course. Joe Scarborough ripped into the Fox Host during his Monday show. He began, “Rolling Stone reported there was a spike in poison control calls following a number of reports by Fox News personalities that the deworming drugs for cows and horses — let me say that again, there are people on television saying that a deworming product for cows and horses is a safe treatment for COVID.”
The host continued:
“Let me — I’m going to give it to you straight here, as I always do. it is probably true, they probably have that right, that medical, quote, ‘cartels’ do not want you or your loved ones to take deworming products for livestock and making this all the more preposterous, sad and dangerous, NBC has learned that feed stores in Alabama are selling out of the drugs. Officials are having to put the warning out there, do not take deworming products that you would normally use on your cows or horses.”
