Rudy Giuliani has been in so many odd situations the last year that it’s hard to separate one from the other. Most of the ridiculousness stemmed from the former New York City mayor’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

But Giuliani also humiliated himself when he appeared in the latest Borat film. The sometimes Trump lawyer was seen aggressively courting an journalist being portrayed by an actress, at point unzipping his pants. That film, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, won a Golden Globe last night. And the star of the film, Sacha Baron Cohen lauded Giuliani calling his a comedy genius.
Cohen told viewers, “Thank you to the all white Hollywood Foreign Press. I gotta to say this movie could not have been possible without my co-star, a fresh new talent, who came from nowhere, and turned out to be a comedy genius, I’m talking of course about Rudy Giuliani. I mean who can get more laughs out of one unzipping. Incredible.”
The actor said that the former NYC mayor went on to, “star in a string of comedy films. Hits like Four Seasons Landscaping, Hair Dye of the Day, and the courtroom drama — a Very Public Fart.”
