WATCH: Ron DeSantis Says Standing Up To The “Brandon Administration” Is What Really Matters

Donald Trump’s Presidential campaigns showed one thing clearly: for the MAGA crowd, finding something voters like and saying it over and over is an effective tactic to keep the adulation rolling in. Now Florida Governor Ron DeSantis — who is speculated to be planning his own run for President of the United States — is demonstrating that he has learned that tactic well.

We get it, we get it, “let’s go Brandon” is funny to MAGAworld because it’s a way of saying “F*** Joe Biden” without using the swear word, and while maintaining a false veneer of the civility they demand in return. Still, at some point, calling Biden “Brandon” would have to get old to them, right?

Here’s DeSantis, speaking at CPAC, telling an audience how important it is to have the courage to stand up to forces including “cancel culture,” “corporate media,” “big tech,” and of course, “the Brandon Administration.”

And no surprise — his audience loves it. DeSantis has tried this before, and it’s earned him laughter and cheers.

Now, of course, he’s spent recent months battling against the Biden Administration, fighting against every possible precaution that could be considered to lower the impact of COVID-19 on his state. The Miami Herald reports that the state has just added another 598 new deaths to the numbers they pass on to the CDC, with about three-quarters of those in the past 4 weeks, and over half in the last two weeks alone, so DeSantis’ constituents might not all have a great appreciation for his willingness to “stand up to” the Biden Administration — but his fans sure do love it, especially when he calls it the “Brandon Administration.”
