Throughout his 16 year career in the United States Senate, Lindsey Graham has made many friends. His friendship with John McCain was obviously well-known and talked about regularly. Graham also created a strong bond with Democrat and current Presidential nomination hopeful, Joe Biden.
Over the past 3 years, Graham has increasingly sided with Donald Trump, despite the President’s disdain for both McCain and Biden. This morning, Conservative pundit Bill Kristol shared a remarkable video of the South Carolina Senator glowingly talking about Joe Biden.
The video was filmed shortly after the death of Biden’s son Beau. Beau Biden died of a brain tumor at the age of 46 in 2015.
Graham begins by saying, “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, there’s probably…you got a problem. And you need to do some self evaluation because what’s not to like.”

A clearly emotional Graham discussed a phone call he had with Biden after Beau died.
The South Carolina senator continued, “He came to my ceremony and said some of the most incredibly heartfelt things that anybody could ever say to me. And he’s the nicest person I think I’ve ever met in politics.”
The video closes with Graham saying, “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person then probably you’ve got a problem, you need to do some self-evaluation….He is as good a man as God ever created.”
This week, the Senator opened up an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden. His spokesperson Taylor Reidy said, “Graham is requesting documents which could shed additional light on that issue and hopes they will be able to answer some of the outstanding questions.”
