WATCH: Rather Than Reporting News, Tucker Carlson Invites Chicken Enthusiast On His Show
Joe Biden’s presidency is off the a very good start. Millions of Americans have received their vaccines and states are reopening all over the country. Thanks to the job he’s doing, Biden currently holds approval ratings far above any ever achieved by Donald Trump.
Rather than discussing the job Biden has been doing, though, Fox News is committing to fighting the culture war. Leading this charge is Tucker Carlson. On Friday night, Carlson invited a “chicken enthusiast” on his show to mock recent CDC guidelines.
The CDC recently made an odd recommendation, “don’t kiss or snuggle backyard poultry, and don’t eat or drink around them.” Carlson told his audience, “Now that raises the question, who are these chicken touchers out there that the CDC is concerned about? We’re not judging as we ask that. Are there people in this country that snuggle chickens?”
He then invited on chicken farmer Tiara Soleim. He asked, “It feels like you’ve been singled out by the CDC for criticism. How does that feel?”
The guest answered, “I’m not a huge fan of it because I’ve been handling chickens since I was about 4 years old. And I’ve been kissing them, snuggling them, shoving my face in them and I’m fine. People around me are fine. And I don’t see a problem with it.”
