WATCH: Rand Paul Heckled by Democrats in California Restaurant
Since Donald Trump was elected in 2016, numerous Republicans have been harassed at restaurants. Eric Trump was spit on in Chicago. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was barred from eating at a popular Virginia restaurant. And Kirstjen Nielsen was shouted at until she left a Washington DC eatery.

While Rand Paul ins’t a member of Trump’s cabinet, he often defends the President’s most controversial decisions. In California for a book tour, the Kentucky senator was heckled while eating lunch.
A video of the incident was shared by Paul’s communications director, Sebastian Gor. Gor tweeted the video and wrote, “While having lunch with Rand Paul in California, we got verbally assaulted by these aggressive libs complaining about incivility. Check out the vid!”

The hecklers told the Kentucky senator, “You just ran into two people from New York, kiddo, and we’re not putting up with your Republican bulls–t.” The woman also flipped off the lawmaker.
A second man then approached Paul, telling him, “You’re public officials and I have a right to speak to you.”
Paul shared the video to his Twitter feed as well. He wrote, “The left blames incivility on Donald Trump. Watch this video and decide who the rude ones are…”
The Kentucky senator recently criticized Republicans who chided Trump for his Syria decison. Paul explained, “These are the people that have never met a war they didn’t like and have never met a war they wanted to end. They’ve been wrong about everything in foreign policy for the last several decades.”
