Republican Glenn Youngkin recently won the Virginia’s Governor’s race by making Critic Race Theory his core issue. The GOP was able to convince voters that the topic was affecting children in their state. Of course, Youngkin had to later concede that CRT wasn’t being taught to children who hadn’t yet reached college.
Eight days ago, Florida Governor passed the state’s, Don’t Say Gay Bill. Conservatives and their media outlets have argued that the bill prevents younger Florida schoolchildren from being taught about graphic sex acts. On Monday, Jen Psaki turned the tables on Fox Reporter Peter Doocy when he asked about the bill.
Doocy attempted to ask if the White House supports the teaching of sex education to children younger than Kindergartners.”Does the White House support that kind of classroom instruction BEFORE kindergarten?”
After Psaki responded, “Do you have examples of schools in Florida that are teaching kindergartners about sex education?” When Doocy noted that he wants the President’s answer, Psaki continued, “I think this is a politically charged harsh law that is putting parents and LGBQT+ kids in a very difficult and heartbreaking circumstance. So I think that’s a relevant question.”
