Over the last year and a half, Fox News hosts and their viewers have been throwing a temper tantrum over COVID-19. They fought over restrictions like social distancing and masks. And despite the fact that they want Donald Trump to receive credit for vaccines, they are less likely to take them.
On Thursday, in an attempt to stop the tantrum, Joe Biden created a vaccine mandate meant to cover 2/3’s of American workers. The hosts of Fox’s The Five, of course, were aghast over the measures. And Jeanine Pirro, normally quick to anger, was enraged that the president asked Americans to respect flight attendants.
Flight attendants have been subject to the anger of many Conservatives who refuse to wear masks or follow safety protocols. Pirro told viewers:
“He’s going after Abbott and DeSantis, and then he’s saying… you know what, show some respect for the flight attendants. Maybe some of the flight attendants ought to show some respect to us, okay? If you’re trying to feed a two-year-old yogurt without a mask on and they decide to throw the mother off, I mean I could go on and on about the absurdity of people who don’t have power, who are suddenly engaged and have power, and then they abuse it.”
