Back in 2004, everything was looking up for Jim Caviezel. The actor was cast as Jesus in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ. The film was had average critical reviews but was a massive box office hit raking in nearly $700 million.

Since then, however, Caveziel hasn’t been getting much work. Roles have slowly tapered off for the actor and now he mostly appears in movies with strong religious themes.
Caviezel, though, has seemingly picked up some new hobbies, becoming a follower of the QAnon conspiracy theory. This weekend, he gave a bonkers speech at a QAnon conference in Las Vegas.
The actor told attendees, “Fight and you may die. Run, and you’ll live — at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you have be willin’ to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that you can take take our lives, but you can never take our freedom!”
Caviezel continued, “We must fight for that authentic freedom and live my friends. By God, we must live and with the Holy Spirit as your shield and Christ as your sword may you join Saint Michael and all the other angels in defending God and sending Lucifer and his henchmen straight back to hell where they belong.”
