[WATCH] Parler’s Back!

Our friends at Meidas Touch apparently never sleep. Not only are they still making the instantly viral videos that made them famous, they’ve got a podcast and a new show on their Meidas Network. Featuring new viral sensation Heather G, their show, The Divided State of America, features all of the clever work you’ve come to expect from the Brothers Meislas.

Ahead of their latest episode, Meidas Touch has released a new video “celebrating” the return of the right wing social media app Parler, which was famously shut down in the wake of the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol.

Parler re-emerged on Monday after about a month of dormancy. Now users who egged on the insurrection and violence during the Jan. 6 siege of the U.S. Capitol are flocking back to the platform, including the leader of the Proud Boys and a user who has been charged with threatening members of Congress.

Parler has claimed it will monitor violent content on its rebooted site with human and A.I. moderators and will hide posts that attack someone based on sex, sexual orientation, race, or religion with a “trolling filter.”

Meidas decided to troll–er, welcome Parler back to the fold with a brand new spot, below.
