Most levelheaded Republicans would agree that Vladimir Putin is no friend of the United States. The problem is, there aren’t many levelheaded GOP lawmakers left. And in some segments of the media, it is even worse.
Tucker Carlson has continually praised Russia and Putin. During his Monday night show, he even slammed Joni Ernst for discussing sanctions against Russia. The Fox host even asked, “Why is it disloyal to side with Russia but loyal to side with Ukraine? They’re both foreign countries that don’t care anything about the United States. Kind of strange.”
After playing a clip of Carlson’s question, Nicolle Wallace responded, “There’s a reason they play him every night on Russian state TV.”
The MSNBC host continued:
“It’s not the first time Tucker Carlson has openly embraced dictators. He’s been vocal in his support for Hungarian leader Viktor Orban. Last week, he announced he’ll be broadcasting from that country for the second time in a year.”
