Donald Trump and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz will attend college football games on Saturday which a large number of voters are expected to tune in.
Trump is headed to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where the Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama is a predominately red state, but Georgia fans who hail from the swing state are likely the targeted demographic, which is why the Harris-Walz campaign is airing a brand new ad during the telecast.
The trolling from the Harris-Walz campaign didn't stop there. A plane will fly over the stadium during the game mocking him for chickening out of a final debate with Vice President Harris.
Trump has attended plenty of sporting events, often receiving more boos than cheers from the crowds.
Gov. Walz, a former high school football coach, will attend the Michigan Wolverines v. Minnesota Golden Gophers game in Ann Arbor in the hopes of wooing voters in the battleground state while also representing his home state. Recent polls show Vice President Harris leading Trump by just one point in Michigan.
The excitement for Coach Walz was obvious as he prepared to debate his opponent, the historically unpopular JD Vance, on Tuesday. Coach Walz is leading Vance by a whopping 40-point margin, which is essentially unheard of in politics.
It marks Coach Walz's third visit to Michigan since Vice President Harris chose him as her running mate in August. VP Harris and Coach Walz campaigned together in the Detroit area in early August, and Gov. Walz made solo visits to Grand Rapids and Lansing two weeks ago.
