There have been times in the history of Fox News when non-Conservative voices could be heard. But Chris Wallace, more of an independent, recently left for CNN. And Juan Williams, who typically acted as a Liberal talking head, is no longer seen on The Five.
Willams replacement on The Five has been Geraldo Rivera. While the long-time journalist is more down the middle, he often finds himself taking the Liberal taking point. And after Rivera supported safe drug-use kits, he drew the ire of Mike Lindell.
When asked about the kits, Rivera told Sean Hannity, “Believe me, I am not enthusiastic about this plan at all. But, Sean, you have to consider the fact — this is the question: Do junkies’ lives matter?”
Reacting to the comments on a recent radio show, former crack addict Lindell ranted, “It was the most stupid thing to come out of Geraldo’s mouth in history. Can you believe these crack pipes they are going to give out to the addicts? And Geraldo goes, ‘Well, you know, they’re people too. Their lives matter too.”
The pillow entrepreneur continued, “You’ve got to be kidding me! Of course, their lives matter too, you idiot. I mean, this guy, where is his brain? This is our journalists nowadays. He’s on there to talk about something. They should ban him from even being in this country, for talking that stupid!”
