There are a handful of Republicans who are willing to speak out against Trump. Most of them are extremely powerful like Mitch McConnell, or retiring or governing over a blue state that doesn't like Trump like Larry Hogan or Chris Sununu.
The vast majority of Republicans are too frightened to say anything about Trump, worried that criticizing the 45th President could cost them their career. Then there are the true believers, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who are willing to do and say anything in support of Trump.
This behavior from the Georgia congresswoman was on full display at a New Hampshire diner today. In an MSBNC spot, Greene warned, "This is a referendum on the Republican Party. This is a true change for the Republican Party. It says that not only do we support President Trump, we support his policies. And any Republican that isn't willing to adapt to these policies, we are completely eradicating from the party."
The controversial Republican closed her comments by trying to channel Trump's fake gangster routine, saying, "It's up to Nikki Haley what she does. It would be a good choice for Nikki Haley if she drops out after this election."
