After ex-Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis became the latest figure to flip in Georgia, Katie Phang thinks that Donald Trump should be worried about Rudy Giuliani.
Rudy Giuliani worked very hard to keep Donald Trump in power. That led to plenty of humiliation for the former New York City Mayor. Giuliani is experiencing huge money problems and he's reportedly had trouble being paid by Team Trump.
Jenna Ellis, once a member of Giuliani's team along with Sidney Powell, pled guilty on Tuesday on a charge of aiding and abetting false statements and writings.
Phang said of the deal, "Now you not only have Kenneth Chesebro, Sidney Powell, two top Trump lawyers, but now Jenna Ellis, top Trump lawyer, and top Trump campaign lawyer. And how does it affect Donald Trump?"
The MSNBC host continued, "Rudy Giuliani has a flipped co-defendant in Fulton County that has implicated him and you and I know that any of that proffer given, that recorded statement given to D.A. Fani Willis, had to have value for them to give her a probation offer for this particular charge."
Giuliani has long been very loyal to Donald Trump, but he has also done so at great expense to himself. It is worth wondering how much more the former Mayor could be willing to lose.
