WATCH: Mike Johnson Says Media Has to Stop 'Chasing' Trump's Medical Records

During an appearance on Laura Ingraham's Fox News show on Monday night, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson claimed that the country did not care about seeing Donald Trump's medical record.

At his Monday night event in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump cut the question and answer session short after multiple people fainted in the air-conditioning-less building. In yet another sign of severe cognitive decline, Trump stood and slowly swayed to his favorite songs of the last 40 minutes of the town hall.

Still, Mike Johnson thinks its ok for the former President, now 78 years old, to refuse to release his records. The Speaker claimed, "The American people don't care about the cholesterol level of Donald Trump. They care about the cost of living and the cost of groceries."

Johnson continued:

"It is embarrassing. It would be comical if it were not so serious, Laura. The broadcast news stations ought to be required to file paperwork now. They're giving in-kind contributions with all their air time for the Kamala Harris campaign. They're trying to prop her up and of course, they're trying to diminish our nominee Donald Trump. And it's absurd."

The idea that Americans don't care about Trump's medical records is insane and its an important topic for Harris to continue to press. If the best response the Republicans can give is the one Johnson gave last night, its a serious issue for the GOP.
