During a Tuesday segment on Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski brought out a living prop to mock Donald Trump's running mate J.D. Vance.
It is J.D. Vance's first full week on the campaign trail since being named the Republican VP candidate and things are not going well. In addition to going viral for odd comments about Diet Mountain Dew, he also spent an awful lot of time blasting women, especially what he called "childless cat ladies."
The show played a clip of a 2021 interview where Vance told Tucker Carlson, "We're effectively run in this country via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices they've made."
Coming back from the clip, Brzezinski could be seen stroking her cat. She remarked, "I've just got to say. My kids are older. Does that make me childless? I want to qualify."
Brzezinski continued:
"By the way, her children just drop off the cats, too. Anyway, I was about to say before I got distracted, there's that a scene in 'The Verdict,' where Paul Newman had the nurse on the stand. She cried and said, 'Who are these men? Who are these men?' I look at Republicans today, talking about childless cat ladies, and I'm serious, I'm like, who are these people? Who are these men? Like, how did these people who say something every day that would have got you disqualified in politics or from polite society or had everybody in the Republican Party look at you like, what's wrong with you?"
