There are very few people who know Donald Trump as well as his former fixer, Michael Cohen, does.
In August 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to eight counts, including tax fraud, bank fraud, and campaign finance violations, the latter of which he testified Trump ordered to influence the 2016 presidential election. Cohen served a three-year prison sentence, and now Trump will be sentenced on November 26th for the same crimes.
So when Michael Cohen speaks about how Trump operates against his enemies and political opponents, it's worth paying attention to despite his legal track record.
Cohen knows all too well that Trump never takes responsibility for anything he does, often scapegoating others to shift the blame and focus from him to the closest available warm body.
After blaming everyone from the moderators to the lights for his staggering debate loss to Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump went on to blame President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris for his being targeted by two would-be assassins in less than three months.
Trump is also busy pre-blaming everyone he can for losing the November election to Vice President Harris.
Whether he's rolling out his old lies about the election being "rigged" while his loyalists are working hard to prevent her from winning or claiming "the Jews" will be the ones at fault if he loses, Trump has never once allowed any accountability to stick to him.
Cohen appeared on MSNBC's "The Weekend" on Saturday morning to discuss how Trump is still using hatred and blame to drive his presidential campaign.
