In a late-night speech, with Pennsylvania’s election for U.S. Senator still undecided, Mehmet Oz gave a speech crediting those who helped him along the way — including Sean Hannity. The Fox News host has been giving him advice and aid ‘behind the scenes,’ Oz explained.

Donald Trump has already declared Oz, best known for his role as a TV doctor, the winner, after giving his endorsement late in the race. In a series of Truth Social posts, he declared himself to be the reason Oz had

NBC reported Wednesday night that Pennsylvania’s State Department had warned that unofficial results may not be in for a few days, as election workers made sure that each ballot was counted and tabulated accurately.
Still, Oz gave a speech in the evening thanking those who had helped him along the way, including the former president, and Sean Hannity.

As can be seen in the clip, Oz was still trailing slightly behind Dave McCormick in the counts at that point.
Hannity released his endorsement for Oz back in March, weeks before Trump added his support, and there is public speculation about whether the TV host influenced the former president, especially since much of MAGA does not support Oz, who has previously expressed less extreme views on issues from gun control to trans rights.
More, though, as Mediaite reports, the question is already being raised about how Trump will handle it i Oz loses after such a close race.
“If Dave Mccormick wins here, he’ll start his lying again, and Oz will start the lying again,” predicted Joe Scarborough, suggesting that this could be partially negated if Pennsylvania adopted the practice of counting early votes ahead of election day.
Sure enough, shortly after declaring victory, Trump was back on Truth Social posting to hedge his bets, both to hint that he had a win no matter which “ultra MAGA” candidate took the Republican nomination in Pennsylvania, and setting up the possibility that mail-in ballots are a problem that could produce an inaccurate outcome.
