WATCH: Marjorie Taylor Greene Attacks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Again; Gets Brushed Off Like A Fly

Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is pretty constantly trying to get under the skin of her chosen rival, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Meanwhile, Ocasio-Cortez is consistent in her response — steadily making it clear that she doesn’t exactly feel challenged.

When Greene joined ousted former president Donald Trump at an Ohio rally Saturday night, it was inevitable that she would be bringing up the Congress member she set her focus on before she ever ran for office herself, who she has followed through the streets of D.C. and harassed, who she can’t seem to take a break from thinking and talking about.

Using diminutive, calling someone small, is a pretty typical method in bullying or trying to denigrate someone, and Greene is certainly no stranger to it. In this case, she declares Ocasio-Cortez to be “the little communist from New York City,” and calls for her to be locked up, before adding, “She’s not an American. She really doesn’t embrace our American ways.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded with a short tweet that made it clear she’d seen the clip, heard the attempted insult, and wasn’t impressed — merely mocking Greene for calling her “little.”

“First of all, I’m taller than her,” AOC tweeted, but didn’t dignify the rest of the diatribe with a response.

Of course, at this point, five months into Greene’s term, Ocasio-Cortez has had enough run-ins with her to have a pretty solid idea of her new colleague’s methods and goals — so she balanced a quick, flip acknowledgment with a refusal to be baited into giving enough attention to encourage her.
