Madison Cawthorn has high hopes for his political future — and hard words for the nation’s top public health official. On his Instagram story, he’s been promoting some of his most extreme ideas and plans, turning to a medium that disappears quickly while some of his far-right colleagues are suffering bans and suspensions from social media over their posts.

PatriotTakes has been keeping an eye on Cawthorn’s Instagram stories — posts that disappear 24 hours after they’re made — and often catching a screengrab as a permanent record. Below, you can see a video grabbed for posterity, showing Cawthorn labeling Dr. Anthony Fauci as “the demon doctor” and declaring that he likes Florida because the state tells Fauci “to go to hell.”
At a country music concert in Florida, Madison Cawthorn said he loves Florida because they “tell Dr. Fauci he can go to hell.”

Of course, it’s not just on his story that Cawthorn posts his propaganda. You can also see this particular clip as a post that still exists on his account.
Still, Cawthorn frequently posts to his story, which means a lot of posts that are only visible to those paying enough attention to catch them while they’re new. Currently, these include multiple declarations of his presidential aspirations — you can see screenshots of two of these posts below.

Cawthorn might be hoping to run for President of the United States, but he could face a serious setback in that plan — there are already efforts underway to have him disqualified to run for office at all, due to his open support of an attempt to overthrow the U.S. government last year.
