Donald Trump has loyalists in battleground states who are already planning to do whatever it takes to subvert the 2024 election and delay the certification of votes upon any results they don't like.
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow has been closely watching the attempts from Trump's "fake electors"--at least 35 people, from recent counts--for months, and devoted a segment of her show Monday night with an exclusive.
Citizens For Ethics in Washington (CREW) has created a blueprint for saving the 2024 election from the kind of interference we saw in 2020 which not only delayed the election certification, it resulted in the first non-peaceful transfer of power, exemplified by the January 6th insurrection.
Their report identifies "35 rogue election officials" across the country who have already refused to certify election results and may be in a position to do so again. Yes, even before a single ballot is mailed out. I don't know, maybe arrest them for election interference if you know who they are? It's only a federal offense.
The report focuses on the eight states where county officials have "unlawfully refused to certify elections" since 2020: Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
CREW's report also identifies the legal means available to state and federal authorities, as well as voters, to protect the certification of the 2024 election.
CREW is also keeping close tabs on Trump's ties with Project2025, and thanks to them there's video proof that most of the Heritage Foundation members in this video came from Trump's administration.
